Through the use of positive reinforcement, you can rest assure knowing that your dog is getting the best start in life possible. Positive reinforcement will give the pups a chance to think for themselves and therefore seek out behaviours that they will get praised for as opposed to being punished for. This will give them a better insight on life as they will have a positive state of mind. The outside world can be a scary place for young ones therefore taking your pup to another positive and controlled home environment is a great way to set your dog up for success. We are based in South Auckland, just a couple of minutes from the Takanini off-ramp.

The Puppy Preschool course is only $125 and will consist of a 1-hour class per week, over 4 weeks. Courses will be running Monday-Friday 6:30pm-7:30pm or Saturday mornings.

I will be working closely with owners to teach their dog the basics. These include:

Basic Body Language – puppy preschool booklet
Name Recognition / Recall Training
Sit
Down
Stay
Mat work
Toilet Training
Bite Inhibition
Socialisation

The beginning of each lesson will start with a 5-10minute puppy play time aiding in their socialisation skills. During some lessons, I will bring my 2 boys in so pups can learn how to approach and greet big dogs. There is access to a fully fenced grass area to help reinforce toilet training. For the end of the course I will be holding a graduation party where there will be certificates, games, awards and a whole lot of fun!

Pre-requisites

Your pup needs to have at least their first vaccination with proof in vet book or vet clinic confirmation.

Maximum of 2 people per pup in class.

Payment is to be made before or on first day of class via bank transfer or cash.
